AGM Sutton Bonnington Sept 6th

This was our 24th AGM with in MY opinion a poor turnout for the club as a whole. The weather was not the best we have had at Sutton Bonnington with a heavey downpour. There was 5 vehicles vehicles in attendance.

The comittee remains unchanged for this year with Barry Wilkinson taking on the extra role of Technical Advisor.

Wicksteed Park Summer Rally July

On the weekend of the 10th & 11th July 2010 the club returned to Wicksteed Park for our annual Summer Rally. What a brilliant weekend we had. The weather was exceptional, not a suggestion of rain, a brilliant BBQ on the Saturday night, and the only problem on the Sunday was keeping out of the extreme heat. They have even installed a really luxurious shower & toilet block, which made things even better, although it was the most crowded we have ever seen it. The club are given their own space which is fenced of for us, so we had plenty of room.

A lot of members arrived on the Saturday and camped over in our reserved space. We had two BBQ’s going during the evening, and a couple of table’s laden with food, plus a few drinks & good company. Add to this a beautiful warm summers evening when we all sat around talking until gone eleven pm, and we had a terrific start to the weekend.

The Sunday started with more sunshine, and a good turnout of members. A particular welcome to our new member Geoff Hamilton, and to Bo Odegarrd and family, who made the trek over from Denmark to see us all again.

We will be back at the same location next year, and would love to see more of you, both new friends and old. If you can make a weekend of it, camping is available on the Saturday night, otherwise just turn up on the Sunday.

Sutton Bonnington AGM September 6 2009

The 23rd AGM of the MK4 Owners Club brought about a few changes within the club itself, having new faces join the committee, some well known figures stepped down and some changes of role within. The current members of the committee can be found on our members page

The weather was nice, bright and sunny but not too hot. We had quite a good turnout of vehicles with some that had not been seen for a while.
